We are looking for translators for our mobile (Qt, Android, iPhone, Web App) application Bolus.
This is free application intended to help people that use insulin pump. Currently it supports English, German, French, Croatian, Serbian and Russian languages. We need translators for other languages.

Bolus

Bolus is simple and easy to use application intended to help anyone using insulin pump. It calculates carbohydrates, bolus and correction values according to user's input.
User can make his own collection of groceries or meals with known carbohydrates per 100g values.
It supports English, German, French, Russian, Croatian and Serbian languages.

Instructions for use

Main page

On main page you enter following parameters that will stay remembered:
  • Wanted glycemia
  • Insulin sensitivity (you calculate it from your total daily dosages)
  • g Carbs for 1IU (your healtcare provider gives you this value)
Changable parameters for every calculation are:
  • Measured glycemia
  • Last insulin with time
You also add g of carbs for every part of meal or for whole meal + how much (in g) you will eat.
You can also select from list of Groceries/Meals on the left, so you don't have to enter numeric values every time.

If ketones are present in urine, check "Ketones present" checkbox. This will increase insulin dosage by 1.5 times.

At the end touch "Calculate" to see results.

Menu

In menu you have followin options:
  • Add Food Item
  • Remove Food Item
  • Settings
  • About

Add Food Item

Enter grocerie/meal name (whatever you like) and how much this food has g of carbs per 100g of meal.

Remove Food Item

Select food item to delete, and confirm deletion.

Settings

This is where you can change application language and enter "Rate of insulin resorption (% per hour)" which is used to calculate how much of insulin is still active after last insulin (entered on main screen)
